Everyone thinks I'm such a nice person...

One of my workers commented to me at one of our early morning, pre-work socializations, "You're such an easy going person. I'm sure everyone gets along with you!". I've known these guys for years. They are my family. But I couldn't help but laugh. I replied, "Oh, I'm a very loving and caring person and will do what I can to help the people I love as much as they deserve. I have a big heart and forgive way more than I should. But...from the shit that I've been through, there is also a part of me that smiles and gets excited when I have to destroy someone".
